WOD 040820 “Randy”


75/55 pound Power snatch,
75 reps for time.

A hero workout named for Randy Simmons, 51, a 27 year LAPD veteran and SWAT team member was killed February 7 in the line of duty.

Traditionally done with a barbell. But we have several options to make this a potent workout.

Coach’s Notes: 

If you have never done Randy, you might want to try it with a lighter weight than is prescribed, just to get the feel for this high volume of snatches. You might also want to break this up into manageable sets like 6 sets of 15 reps.
