CrossFitGames Open workout 19.4 is:
For total time:
3 rounds of: 10 snatches 12 bar-facing burpees
Then, rest 3 minutes before continuing with:
3 rounds of:
10 bar muscle ups /(chin-over-bar pull-ups)
12 bar-facing burpees
Rx: snatch 95/65 lb.
Scaled: snatch 64/45 lbs, may step over bar on the burpees
Time cap: 12 minutes
This is classic CrossFit.
It’s a lot of burpees… I will admit that I approached the workout like two sprints. So I went all out on the first one to get a good tie break time. The 3 minute rest is just enough time to lull you into thinking that the second one is easy peasy. When it comes to muscle ups or pull ups, it’s best to break a rep or two before you think you need to because once your shoulders are done, it’s hard to come back.
But, I loved it! I would do it again…next year as a repeat workout.
