I started doing CrossFit during the 2015 Open. I didn’t know what it was, only that everyone in my box was coming to work
The other day I did a workout and I had a definite plan in mind. 6 rounds 10 Hang Cleans 7 Bar Facing Burpees
21-15-9 reps for time of:
Deadlifts, 155 lb.
Overhead squats, 115 lb.
I have had this ongoing conversation with several other women and there are two opinions out there regarding strength. Everyone wants to be strong

The Battle of Baltimore is coming up in January 30, 2016. It’s time to start training.
I did the WOD at 5:30pm and as I was finishing up round 12 and the 6:30pm class was arriving. I was thinking that I had nothing left to give and then a bunch of 6:30 folks rallied around me to encourage me to keep going. It was the best. It was the epitome of Crossfit. 5:30pm with Coaches Brittany and Brian. This WOD was no joke.
We recently completed the Crossfit Open 15.1 workout and it was a humbling experience. I went into the workout with one impression of how I would do. But my performance was nothing like what I had imagined.
When is the best time to work on virtuous form? The obvious answer is “all of the time”. You never want to move unsafely just to get through a workout. Beyond the obvious answer, “all of the time”, when is virtuous form most important?
Sometimes it feels like things are done to you, when really those things are done for you. #onthebench
